The Southern Sleep Society will be bringing some of the greatest speakers in the country to the 2020 meeting in Atlanta, GA. The conference will feature symposia, keynote speakers and invited lecturers. See the Southern Sleep Society's website for an agenda and speaker lineup.

Research

Dayna A. Johnson, PhD is a social epidemiologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. She received her doctorate in Epidemiologic Science from the University of Michigan, and she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Sleep and Circadian Disorders at Harvard Medical School.

Our Mission

We are proposing to expand existing sleep research, education and outreach efforts at Emory to: 1) identify and grow innovative multidisciplinary research collaborations at Emory targeting different populations and settings; 2) create new, and strengthen existing, sleep training opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students; and 3) promote healthy sleep to the Emory community, as well as the greater Atlanta community, Georgia and beyond.
